I made this loud and bold beauty for Hive Gallery DTLA’s 1980s Circus show, and now it needs a good home!
This unique hand-beaded sheath necklace resembles feathers in bright circus-inspired colors made from fine Czech glass, with tiny Japanese seed beads and colorful hematite stars on the edges. At the tip, there’s a colorful enamel balloon animal!
Back closure has zinc alloy ends, stainless steel clasp and chain. Ergonomic large lobster claw clasp.
The beaded portion of the top of the necklace is 9” wide, and I attached 4” of chain for the clasp, for a total length of 13”. There is a 6” chain extension, for an adjustable length of about 19”. The longest point of the beaded bib is 8”.
